Jamb has now enabled Caps Portal for 2020 admission status. This means Jamb 2021 registration will begin before March ending and Jamb 2021 exam starting date is around May 2021.

When will Jamb hold in 2021

Jamb Registration for this year is delayed because many Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education in Nigeria are yet to upload admission lists. This is further due to the recent lockdown.

Jamb will hold this year 2021, Jamb Real Website is www.jamb.gov.ng, Jamb UTME and Direct Entry form will come out together. You will be informed the exact day and time Jamb will start selling forms for this year.

The official Jamb Registration fee is #3,500, Jamb English Novel Price is #500 and Jamb Approved CBT Centres charge #700 for registration. Save above #5,000 for Jamb registration 2021.

The exam takes one Week or more to finish. Your exam date will be shown when you Reprint Jamb Slip based on Jamb Timetable. Jamb reprinting is done a few days to the exam to show your examination date and centre.

You don’t need to have Waec, Neco, GCE, jamb, ND, Jupeb or HND result ready before registering Jamb 2021; awaiting result is allowed. Upload your result to Jamb portal when released.

Jamb 2021 Starting Date And What To Expect

The New things to expect in Jamb 2021 are a reintroduction of National Identification Number (NIN) for Jamb Registration and platform to book an appointment before visiting Jamb office.

There will be approval of more Jamb CBT Centres. Jamb UTME And Direct Entry form will come out the same day.

I expect changes in the way Jamb profile is created and a few modifications to the Jamb registration process. I expect Jamb examination to take fewer days since more centres would be introduced. Jamb may not increase or reduce the number of questions.

Jamb 2021 will remain computer-based, there will be CCTV cameras in all the Jamb examination centres, reprinting of Jamb slip for exam date, time and venue will be done at least 7 days to the examination and Jamb 2021 results will be released within a week of writing the Examination.

Does Jamb have Theory? No… Jamb sets only Objective Questions. Jamb will not set theory in 2021 UTME and there will not be practical. Only Waec and Neco Sets Theory Exams.

Is Jamb the same as UTME? Jamb has both UTME and Direct Entry. Jamb UTME is for secondary school leavers and those who need admission into 100 level or ND Programme in Nigeria.

Jamb Direct Entry is for admission directly into 200 level and is for those who already have ND, HND, Jupeb, IJMB, or other A-Level programs Certificate.

How to Prepare Before Jamb 2021 Exam Date

To pass Jamb, you need to apply certain success principles. How To Register Jamb 2021

• Create an email account (if you don’t have)
• Have a valid and personal phone number
• Enrol NIN For Jamb if necessary
• Create a JAMB profile (If you don’t have already)
• Proceed to buy Jamb E-Pin
• Visit an approve Jamb centre to complete registration
• Fill the Jamb form and ten fingers biometric
• Collect your Jamb registration slip

Note: No candidate should register at any centre other than the accredited CBT centre and JAMB State office. Any candidate who is registered outside approved centres will be identified and disqualified.

If you score very low in Jamb, it is not the end of life. It doesn’t mean you can’t gain admission to study your desired course. It could just mean changing your institution of choice.

Jamb And Schools Work Together To Offer Admission

Some Jambites believe that it is the Jamb Board alone who gives admission. Others believe that it is their school of choice that will offer them admission. If I may ask you, is it Schools or Jamb that offers admission?

The answer is both. The school to a large extent compiles names of candidates they have admitted. Then send admission list to Jamb for screening and approval. Jamb then uploads the admission lists to Jamb Caps Portal. Jamb also chooses those to be admitted based on Jamb score and recommend others to different schools for admission.

It is the duty of Jamb to offer admission letter to all admitted candidates; Jamb regulates the admission process. For a complete admission, your name needs to be upload to Jamb portal and your school’s admission portal. Sometimes, schools upload names before Jamb.

Jamb UTME Results And Admission Status

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) releases results for Candidates days after the exam. Jamb Results can be checked Online and via SMS (RESULT to 55019). Visit Jamb result portal here and log in with your username and password to check Result.

Jamb releases Admission lists and Admission letter. When you are finally admitted, you can proceed to print your Jamb Admission letter. Admission status can be checked on both Jamb caps and Jamb direct portal.

The normal Jamb result you print out from a computer for free is not what you use for clearance and scholarships application. Your University or Polytechnic of choice will require Original Result Slip during physical clearance. Jamb sells scratch cards to enable you print Original Jamb result. Jamb 2021 Direct Entry News

Jamb Timetable, Exam Center And Slip Reprint: Jamb will send examination centres and dates for 2021 UTME applicants. Not everyone will write Jamb the same date and time. It will be divided into various sessions. You may want to see details about Jamb timetable schedule here.

Jamb Novel And Registration Centres 2020

The current Novel to be used for Jamb is Sweet Sixteen. Candidates are also going to spend not less than Five Hundred Naira ₦500 to obtain the reading text.

There is a rumor that Jamb Novel for 2021 is Secret of the Hidden Secret and that Jamb registration will begin in February 2021. These have not been confirmed by Jamb.

In line with the Board’s regulated registration exercise, only the accredited Computer Based Test Centres in 36 States of Nigeria and FCT Offices will be allowed to register candidates. Jamb also has international registration centers for other countries.
